Draft, May 2026.

The short version

Goalivery is built to stay on your phone. Your goals, your plans, your check-ins, and your reflections live on your device, not on our servers. The one thing that can leave your phone is what you choose to send to the AI buddy, and you can turn that off for any entry.

What stays on your device

Your goals and if-then plans, your daily check-ins and their history, your written reflections, your settings, and your chosen accent color are all stored locally on your iPhone. We do not copy them to a server, and we cannot read them.

The AI buddy

When you talk to the buddy, your message and some context, such as your current goals and recent check-ins, are sent to our AI provider, Groq, so it can write a reply. Groq does not use what you send to train its models, and by default does not keep it. It still leaves your phone to get that reply, which is the one thing local-only mode prevents.

You stay in control. Turn on local-only mode for an entry and it never leaves your phone. Anything you mark private is processed on your device only and is never sent to the buddy or to any provider.

What we do not do

Analytics

Analytics are off by default. If you choose to turn them on in Settings, we collect anonymous, aggregate usage so we can see which parts of the app help and which do not. You can turn this off again at any time.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details. We only learn whether your subscription is active so we can unlock premium features.

Your choices

You can delete everything from inside the app. The "Delete everything" option in Settings wipes your local data and resets the app to a clean state.

Children

Goalivery is not directed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.

Contact

Questions about privacy can go to hello@goalivery.app.

This is a starting draft, not legal advice. Before the app goes live, have this reviewed against the current App Store requirements and the data terms of the AI provider you ship with, and set a real effective date and contact address.
